This season is like one big garden party, as seen in beauty looks using a blooming palette of pastels and petal-inspired shades

Nothing says spring like a spray of beautiful blooms. And in that spirit, our favorite way to welcome the season is by taking beauty inspiration from vibrant petals—from roses and ranunculus to hydrangeas and daisies. Both recent product collections (including Chanel, MAC and Deborah Lippmann) and runways (Burberry, Lela Rose and Mara Hoffman, among others, were replete with models made up in Easter egg hues) took inspiration from the garden. So whether it’s a hydrangea-hued splash of blue liner, a smattering of coral nail polish to coordinate with a spotted anthurium, a warm pink cheek that references a pretty peony or a pop of orchid on the lip, now is the time to infuse your look with a healthy dose of color. After all, just like a beautiful bouquet, you have the power to brighten a room.
