The dot-connector and founder behind Simply Stylist, which brings brands together with celeb stylists and fashion and beauty experts, shares her easy-to-accomplish look

Sarah Pollack Boyd, founder of Simply StylistMorning routine:
In the shower I’ll wake up my face with Neutrogena Rapid Clear Foaming Scrub. I have breakout-prone skin, so this keeps my pores clear in the AM and I love the orange smell. Every morning after my shower I lather my face with Eleven Skin’s Protect Day Crème (SPF 18) and use Sampar Age Antidote Eye Rule around my eyes. Next I try to get rid of my dark circles and have recently fallen in love with Jouer’s Age-Repairing Brightener (medium) topped with Physician’s Formula’s Youthful Wear Dark Circle Corrector + Concealer (light yellow). My skin is uneven in terms of coloring so it’s been tough to find a good match that also covers (without causing breakouts). Right now, I’ve found Physician’s Formula Youthful Wear in Medium Beige has been doing a great job. I top it off with Nyx Matte Bronzer to add some color and set my face. I’m beyond obsessed with Urban Decay’s Naked2 Palette, which I use as eye shadow (day and night) and use an angled brush (wet) in the black shadow for my eyeliner. For blush I use a hint of Laura Geller’s Blush n Brighten in Apricot Berry to rosy up my cheeks a bit. I like the Sheer Cover Extra Length mascara to really lengthen my lashes without clumping. Then finally I’ll pencil in my brows with Jouer’s Blonde Brow Definer (I use blond even though I’m a brunette—just so it’s not so shockingly dark).

Overnight skin ritual:
I LOVE all of the Natura Bissé products at night. I use their Diamond White Rich Luxury Cleanse because it makes my skin feel so hydrated and soft before bed! To take off all the mascara and liner, I either use the good ol’ Target brand Up & Up Makeup Remover or Skinlogics’ Lash and Lid Bath. Then I finish my face off with Murad’s Hydrating Toner. I like this one because it’s an easy squirt on my face and I’m done. I don’t have much patience for my nighttime ritual because I just want to get into bed! I try to use my GlamGlow mask once a week, too—it tightens up my face and leaves my skin baby soft.

Who cuts/colors your hair:
Irene at Hairroin Salon. I love her! I’ve got a little rocker girl inside of me and she finds a happy medium to give me a bit of an edge while still looking professional.

Hair habit:
I have pretty thin hair so anything I can get my hands on to give me volume, I’ll take! When I get out of the shower, I towel dry then use Unite’s 7Seconds leave-in detangler (I use this on my dog too – not sure if that’s safe but it works wonders!). Then I’ll spray my roots with Got2b Fat-tastic Instant Collagen Infusion Mega-Lift Root-Boosting Spray. Then I’ll either air dry or blow dry upside down. Sometimes I’ll add some wave with my curling iron and finish with Aloxxi Flexible Hairspray. I lose a lot of hair daily in the shower, so I just bought Rene Furterer’s Complexe5 to regenerate my roots and hair for healthy growth. I try to use this once a week before showering!

Favorite eye look:
Smokey eye!

Go-to lipstick:
I’m not much of a lipstick person. I do love gloss though—my current favorite is Nyx’s Mega Shin Lip Gloss in Miami Babe.

Nail color of the moment:
I love the HippxRGB line not only because Jenna Hipp is a dear friend of mine. It’s such a great classic nude and you pick the ‘foundation’ color to perfectly match your skin tone. I’m an F2. If I’m feeling extra sassy, I’ll get Essie’s bright blue Mesmerized.

Signature scent:
Day: Michael Kors (Original)
Night: Chanel Coco Noir

“Never without” product:
My Izze chapstick! I got a few in a gift bag years ago, and it’s the best thing ever. Not sure what I’m going to do when I run out because I think it’s just a promo item!

Secret to staying young and beautiful:
Massages often to de-stress and BE HAPPY. If you’re not happy, make a change.  I also choose to surround myself with people who are positive.
