Fashion’s favorite fuchsia-tressed designer and creator of a glam girly-girl cosmetics brand divulges her beauty secrets and go-to formulas
This is my daily go-to routine. I like my skin to be prepared for my long workdays with an easy “pretty” makeup look that is signature to my beauty philosophy (a touch of sparkle!). I like a simple eye look for the day to save time, but simple does not mean boring!
Overnight skin ritual:
I remove my makeup with Neutrogena Deep Clean Makeup Remover Wipes and cleanse my skin with Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser. Then I moisturize with Bvlgari Intensive Regenerating Night Cream; this is my big splurge in my beauty routine because it is simply the best night cream I have ever used. I always apply conditioning lip balm before bed; the one I am using now is a lab sample of a new one I am developing and it’s fantastic, so stay tuned!
Who cuts/colors your hair:
Janine Jarman at Hairroin Salon. She does everything possible to minimize the damage of processing with her expertise, and my hair always feels and looks amazing.
Favorite eye look:
For day, I like a nude shimmer with Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Pure Shimmer pigments; for night, I love a bejeweled smoky eye with the Tarina Tarantino Emerald Pretty Eyeshadow Palette.
Nail color of the moment:
It is always fuchsia and my favorite is a Les Vernis Chanel color called Fuchsia but it’s discontinued, so I am working on my own to exactly match my hair color. For practical purposes, my nails have to be pink, because my hair color always transfers and tints them pink anyway. #fuchsiatressedgirlproblems

“Never without” product:
Blush. If there is no time for anything else, I at least put on some blush for instant “pretty.”
Secret to staying young and beautiful:
No corny cliches here—the only way to stay young and healthy is to exercise, eat healthy foods (most of the time) and take care of your skin. Oh, and splurge on a good bed for that very important beauty sleep!
