With her signature mane of curls, the FOAM magazine editor-in-chief reveals the secrets and products that comprise her time-tested beauty arsenal—the perfect mixture of drugstore go-tos and luxurious classics

Sari Anne TuschmanMorning routine:
My ritual is pretty simple; sadly, I’m not that good with makeup. Every morning I use Olay Eye Gel that is super gentle because I have very sensitive eyes, and Chanel SPF 50 on my face. For makeup, I use MAC powder and blush, Estée Lauder black liquid eyeliner, Maybelline Great Lash Mascara (it’s from the drugstore and I’m obsessed) and usually some shade of very pink lipstick from Chanel with a little gloss on top. I love pink.

Overnight skin ritual:
I use the Olay eye cream again because it’s the only one I can stand—my eyes are so sensitive. Then I use a thick night cream, either from Benefit or Clinique.

Who cuts/colors your hair:
Mostly Frederic Fekkai for both, but I’ve also gone to a great colorist (Nancy Braun) from Metodo Rossano Ferretti Hair Spa in Beverly Hills.

Hair habit:
My hair is beyond curly—I’m talking serious ringlets, so when I find a product I love, I stick to it. I have used John Frieda Frizz Ease on my hair forever. I comb a little of that in my hair before I dry it, upside down, with a diffuser. I read books and magazines while I dry my hair because it takes so long, and people always think that’s funny. I think it’s a good use of time, and I’ve finished a lot of books that way.

Favorite eye look:
I love one line of black liquid liner above the lid and lots of mascara.

Go-to lipstick:
Chanel Coco Pink.

Nail color of the moment:
Seafoam green or some neon color, and my ring finger is usually a different color than the rest of my hand. Although lately I’ve taken to doing one toe a different color instead, and adding glitter to my index finger to switch things up a bit.

Signature scent:
Amarige de Givenchy for more than a decade. Everything I own smells like it.

“Never without” product:
Lip gloss.

Secret to staying young and beautiful:
Being happy. That’s all that matters.
