The downtown LA-dwelling, pixie-coiffed editor-in-chief of Angeleno magazine shares the luxe products and tips that help give her such a chic edge
I start by washing my face with Cetaphil, then I moisturize with a splash of SKII’s Facial Treatment Essence and apply of Chanel’s Hydra Beauty Gel Crème. My makeup routine is very simple: NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer (which has an SPF 30), a sweep of Edward Bess’ Blush Imperiale in Soft Orchid and Diorshow mascara.
Overnight skin ritual:
Currently I’m using the Tatcha skincare line, which is based on the geisha’s traditional beauty routines and the core ingredients they used. I begin with the One-Step Camellia Cleansing Oil, followed by the Gentle Rice Enzyme Polishing Powder and the Moisture Rich Silk Cream. I also use La Prairie’s Cellular Radiance Eye Cream.
Who cuts/colors your hair:
There’s nobody I trust more than José Eber and his team at their salon in Beverly Hills. Rivi colors my hair and Angelica cuts it. I also see Nicoletta for my brows.
My hair is versatile and easy to style. I use Moroccanoil Treatment Light daily to keep it conditioned and shiny and when I want to add some hold and texture, I work in a little Shine Defining Wax by Phyto.
Favorite eye look:
I like a seductive metallic eye; Tom Ford’s Beauty Quad in Golden Mink has some beautiful shadow shades for layering, including a gorgeous, shimmering copper tone.
Nail color of the moment:
Chanel Le Vernis Vertigo.
Strange Invisible Perfume’s Fire and Cream. All of Alexandra Balahoutis’ fragrances are intoxicating, but I have a personal connection to this one.
“Never without” product:
I inherited a love of perfume from my mother, and I rarely leave the house without it. I have a wardrobe of scents that I like to choose from each morning, depending on how I’m feeling and what’s on my calendar for the day.
