Check out some of LA’s real-life beauties and their hair and makeup routines in this street-style photo shoot

Kieumai
Kieumai, medical student, USC: "I'm wearing NARS lipstick in Heat Wave and the NARS Highlighting/Bronzing Blush Duo in Laguna and Orgasm. I’m also a big fan of Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara and have this Clinique highlighting powder that I use on my eyes, but it’s actually to highlight the face. I use Lancôme foundation with a little bit of Pixi primer underneath. It has a touch of illuminating powder so it doesn’t look too matte, and it’s perfect for warm days because it prevents the foundation from wiping off."

Brenna
Brenna, LA editor, Refinery29: "I layered a few lipsticks to get this color—the first layer is NARS Funny Face, the second layer is MAC Amplified lipstick and the third layer is NYX Xtreme lip cream in Dolly Girl."

Nadine
Nadine, model: "I’m wearing Korres mineral foundation, MAC Dame blush, MAC liquid liner, YSL freaking amazing sparkly eyeshadow and DiorShow Black Out Waterproof mascara. Can’t live without it—you can sleep in it for three days and it doesn’t come off. I also use Aquaphor Lip Repair, and Pantene—I swear by it... since I was 7 years old."

Courtney
Courtney, marketing coordinator, Lionsgate: "I'm wearing Helena Rubinstein Lash Queen Feline Extravaganza Mascara in Black Black, bareMinerals Original SPF 15 Foundation in Fairly Light, MAC Bronzing powder in Golden, MAC Powder Blush in Mocha and Kiehl's Lip Balm #1."

Mantha
Mantha, works in theater: "I just cut my hair on Rodeo Drive at Joseph Martin."

Jessica
Jessica, buyer/stylist, ShopSosie.com: "I got my nails done at Linzy Nails in Koreatown. I chose mint because it’s just a popular color right now, and even though I’ve been seeing it a lot, I’m not sick of it yet. The peter pan collar design is in regular polish and then they put a clear gel over it."

Anna
Anna, Greek actress/singer: "For makeup I just wear a good moisturizer, usually a nice oil, rose oil, no brand, with vitamin E in it. A lot of that. Today I wore Clinique makeup and just mascara and a little bit of blush—a natural look. I have extensions and I colored it this time in LA and went to an amazing hairstylist, Chase Kusero at Privé. I love Chase and I love his tattoos."

Amy
Amy, music industry publicist: "I’m actually not wearing any foundation, just a tinted moisturizer from Kiehl’s, a little bit of NARS lip gloss in Orgasm and a touch of NARS bronzer." As for her hair, she likes Primrose Organics Salon on Hollywood Blvd.: "Brandon is amazing with a razor."

Toni
Toni, owner, Fair Season vintage clothing: "I'm wearing Tarte 24.7 Natural Sheer Lip SPF 15 in Monday, MAC concealer and sunblock." She keeps her hair even more low maintenance: "I just keep it long. My friend cut it in her kitchen."

Tara
Tara, occupational therapist: "Nicki Minaj for MAC Viva Glam lipstick, and I only use cocoa butter mixed with shea butter for my face."

Emily
Emily: "I live and die by St. Ives face scrub and glycolic acid. I also love Vincent Longo foundation. I’m wearing a Chanel lip gloss I just got called Emoi." And as for her hair: "I just got a haircut at Privé by Chase Kusero—I love him, he’s the best. I live in NY but all my friends and my brother go to Chase. I stopped coloring my hair because I don’t like how anyone does it and it’s working. It’s going to grow out and keep getting better and better."

Caitlin and Frances
Caitlin (left), actress: "I’m on a new skincare regimen, which is to not put anything on my skin that I wouldn’t eat. I’m using these Ayurvedic products from a spa in New York called Pratima—it’s a lot of essential oils." Frances (right), photographer: "I’m wearing really cheap drugstore moisturizer that my dermatologist recommended. It’s called CeraVe—it's fragrance-free and SPF 30. I love it."

Michelle
Michelle: "It’s Chanel Rouge Coco Shine lipstick called Rebelle. I like to keep it pretty natural with shea butter and cocoa butter. Because my skin is pretty dry I like Clinique foaming face wash. I think I’m wearing Clinique eyeshadow and that’s about it." On hair: "My friend works at Shin on Montana Avenue where I just got it done, and it’s the most amazing place I’ve ever been to—it has kind of a Zen feel to it."

Milani
We spotted this wardrobe stylist sporting some amazing electric orange polish from Milani.

Tracy
Tracy, interior designer, Picker Sisters and former host for Extreme Home Makeover: "Jessica at Neil George does my hair, she does a great natural color for blondes and I only get it done twice a year because as it grows out it’s great. My hair is curly and I got a curler at Target—the one without the clamp—and I just wrap it around that. On my face I’m wearing Laura Mercier mostly, with Bobbi Brown blush and a lip gloss I got at Walmart on the road by Neutrogena. And a little eyeliner I splurged on—Chanel liquid eyeliner, but I smudged it in."

Alice and Isa
Alice (left), architect: "My lipstick is MAC, the kohl is hers, and my haircut is our friend." Isa (right), designer: "My hair is not done here—we’re from Paris, where it was cut by a friend of mine. My lipstick is Chanel and the kohl from Chanel, too."

Melissa
Melissa, jewelry designer, Aluna: "I just use John Frieda Frizz Ease serum and gel. I'm wearing a red lipstick from Sephora, but I always wear SPF and a hat. I tan really easily, but I don’t like getting sun on my face."

Maggie
Maggie, TV critic, Huffington Post: "Monica at Vox Salon in Santa Monica cuts my hair, but I color it every two weeks with one of those colors out of a box. There’s a new 10-minute one that I use. I can’t even remember the name! Otherwise I’m wearing NARS lip gloss, a little tinted moisturizer and a little mascara."

Corina
Corina, menswear designer in Italy: "For hair products, I use a lot or nothing, it just depends. REF is a nice product that makes it a little bit wavy like the effect of going to the beach. And there’s a super good product from Switzerland called Swiss Cure that is really nice as a conditioner."

Ramona
Ramona, editor, Angeleno magazine: "I love the gold goddess look. I’m wearing MAC lipstick in Hue with Dior Addict Glow lip gloss in 257 on top. I love this lipstick because it can go matte and for me what’s important is having my eyes stand out, and to do that I have to make everything matte or bronze. On my cheeks I have NARS Albatross as a highlighter and under that NARS Irresistablement, a sort of bronzer. For skincare I always use Murad Skin Perfecting Primer Acne and Shine Control—it’s amazing. And I wash with Cetaphil from the drugstore. I get my eyebrows threaded at Vinita’s on Westwood Boulevard, it’s an Indian shop. Eyebrows are really important, I think, because they frame the face and I go crazy when they do it too thin; I like thick eyebrows. I fill in any spots with a Benefit eyebrow pencil."

Ambre
Ambre: "I wear nothing on my face. Sometimes some concealer from Cle de Peau and that’s about it. When I wash my hair, I use a different brand every time, but I like Davines."
