Three unique fragrance collections debut for spring
Four sunny and fresh scents comprise the new Big Pony Collection for Women from Ralph Lauren, created to play up the alternately sporty (scents of grapefruit and blue lotus), sensual (cranberry and tonka mousse), free-spirited (pear and mimosa) and stylish (wild cherry and purple amber) sides of the wearer’s personality. $70
Formulated by perfumer and travel aficionado Gérald Ghislain in an effort to capture the olfactory essence of a city, The Scent of Departure awakens the jet-setter in all of us. With packaging mimicking a checked-luggage tag, including the three-letter code for each city’s airport (CDG for Paris, LAX for Los Angeles, for example), each ‘destination’ fragrance is magical and evocative of its namesake, from expected locales like New York (apple, rose and jasmine), Tokyo (lemon, lotus and white musk) and London (pine, orange and freesia) all the way to dreamy escapes such as Istanbul (think bergamot, rose, violet and cinnamon), Bali (a sweet combo of Tiaré flower, tuberose, tangerine and vanilla) and Dubai (citrus blended with rose and jasmine and topped off with patchouli). $45
On May 8, Space NK exclusively introduces In Peace, a serene perfume infused with freesia, French iris and sandalwood that benefits Women for Women International, an organization committed to educating, supporting and providing women in war-torn regions with resources, training and business financing in order to empower them to transition from victim to survivor to active citizen. Since 1993 the org has assisted more than 300,000 women across the world, building stronger nations through stable communities. Ten percent of proceeds from the sale of each bottle with go directly to Women for Women International—44 sold bottles equals a full 12-month sponsorship for one woman. $75
