I usually just rinse my skin with water in the morning and then I use a Sea Buckthorn day moisturizer by Sibu Beauty or some Morning Glory serum by One Love Organics (I’ve just started using this and I love it). On top of that, I use a little Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Nude (my all-time favorite product) and a swipe of NARS Orgasm blush.
I do a sort of messy/smoky eye every day using a brush and Laura Mercier powder eyeliner in black and then a couple of coats of Benefit’s They’re Real! mascara in black. Because so much is happening with my eyes, I usually keep my lips low-key with just tinted Burt’s Bee’s Lip Balm in Tiger Lily. The whole look is my attempt to channel a chic French woman—not sure if it works, but I’m not going to stop trying.
Overnight skin ritual:
I am wholly addicted to my Clarisonic—it has completely changed my skin. I use it every night with a little squirt of the Sibu Sea Buckthorn cleanser. After that I mix a dab of prescription retinol (Tazorac) in with the Sibu Night Cream for my entire face, and that’s pretty much it.
Who cuts/colors your hair:
Kristin Miller at Dear Clark in Dallas cuts and colors my hair.
I got bangs last year and have never had more low-maintenance hair. I feel like they make my hair look “fixed” even if I do nothing to it. I usually wash and blow dry every other day and I’ve been using the Full products by Living Proof and am really happy with them.
Favorite eye look:
Smoky eye. Always.
A nude gloss. I try a red lip every once in a while, as I’m desperate to be able to pull it off—I love how it looks on other girls—but after an hour I end up wiping it off and going back to the nude gloss. I’m a creature of habit.
Nail color of the moment:
Either bare or an orangey-red. I’ve been using Essie Clambake pretty consistently.
For winter I like Comme des Garçons Series 3 Incense: Jaisalmer and for summer it’s Parfums 06130 Yuzu Rouge.
Secret to staying young and beautiful:
Lemon water first thing in the morning, fish oil every day, monthly trips to the Korean spa, ballet classes and most important, kindness.
