Who doesn’t want to look healthy and ready for vacation? Porcelain skin with pink cheeks makes for a timeless English rose visage, but this year we predict the hottest cheekbone embellishment to be a sunny, bronze-y peach cheek that looks like it is straight from a game of beach volleyball. Try a coral blush on just the apples for a minimal take, or go full-tilt with a rich, golden liquid formula such as Clarins’ new Instant Light Blush.

The massive movement toward fuller brows has been well documented in the last year, but in 2012 it’s time to go even bigger. This season’s runways and red carpets proved a ponytail isn’t only for the gym. Enough with mattifying powders and foundations—dewy and luminous are the watchwords for 2012. There’s nothing wrong with covering up where needed, but venture out of your comfort zone toward formulas that release a little glow and glimmer (not glitter, however).
